How this timeline is built
We work backwards from the two things that can’t move: your ceremony and the sunset. Couple portraits land in golden hour whenever possible, family formals happen right after the ceremony while everyone is still together, and we build in a buffer before guests arrive so you’re never rushed.
- First look or not? A first look moves most portraits before the ceremony, so you get to enjoy cocktail hour.
- Family formals. Plan roughly two minutes per grouping and hand us a written list.
- Sunset portraits. Even 15 minutes away from the reception gives you the best photos of the day.
